It is our pleasure to announce that the Rt Hon Michael Fallon MP, the Defence Secretary and MP for Sevenoaks, has accepted our invitation to attend the opening ceremony of the Clubhouse in May. Mr Fallon will of course be very busy at this time canvassing for the general election, however he has been dedicated to our clubhouse project since day one (see photo at the bottom of the page) and we are honoured to have him come join us once more for our big day. Further information on the grand opening will follow soon.

Ide Hill FC confirmed with the residents of Ide Hill that the clubhouse build would start in the third week of January 2015. A snapshot of the letter is below:
As you may be aware Ide Hill Football Club has been trying to build a new clubhouse for a number of years now. Finally, after a lot of fundraising and numerous legal issues, we are very pleased to announce that building will commence around the third week of January 2015.
This will hopefully not cause too much inconvenience to you, but we thought we would let you know an outline of the works and keep you updated as to the progress, these are listed below:
Once again, we do apologise for any inconvenience the build may cause and we hope you see this development as an improvement to the village facilities, whilst being a benefit to both our adult and youth sides (most of whom attend the village primary school).
