Ide Hill FC confirmed with the residents of Ide Hill that the clubhouse build would start in the third week of January 2015. A snapshot of the letter is below:

As you may be aware Ide Hill Football Club has been trying to build a new clubhouse for a number of years now. Finally, after a lot of fundraising and numerous legal issues, we are very pleased to announce that building will commence around the third week of January 2015.

This will hopefully not cause too much inconvenience to you, but we thought we would let you know an outline of the works and keep you updated as to the progress, these are listed below:

  • The build will take approximately 12-16 weeks
  • The site, which will include a temporary site office, will be securely fenced off and a health and safety plan will be in place
  • To enable large vehicle access to the site, a temporary crushed concrete road will be put in place between the gate from Camberwell Lane to the site
  • The road will be removed and the gated lane area will be restored to its usual condition on completion of the build
  • A section of our web site at www.idehillfc.co.uk will display regular updates and progress on the build.
  • If there are any issues or complaints, you can contact the club directly through the website or via email below, and we will liaise with the construction company with a view to resolving any issues immediately

Once again, we do apologise for any inconvenience the build may cause and we hope you see this development as an improvement to the village facilities, whilst being a benefit to both our adult and youth sides (most of whom attend the village primary school).

Chaps well done again

Our last drop off in Mumbai . We deposited the kit and some books pens and sweets to their HQ in Mumbai on our last  day in India . The charity takes in street kids between 5-15 . Especially young girls who have been rescued from brothels and sexual exploitation.

Dear Mr. Keith McGinn,

Thank you very much for choosing to support our NGO and making the special effort to visit our office with gifts for the children of our projects.

Unfortunately on the day of your visit I was away at one of our many projects and did not get a chance to meet you. However my staff gave me all the information about you.

The gifts that you brought have been distributed amongst the kids of our Street Children Project and were hugely appreciated by all. Am attaching a few pictures taken at the time of distribution, as well as some of our boys playing football. I cannot express in words  how happy they were, but the pictures say it all !

Thank you for your generous gesture and hope you will continue to support us in future too. Our website is www.mswcindia.org and our Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/mswcashasadan

Please follow us on Facebook and share information about us with your friends. When you are in Mumbai and would like to visit any of our projects, please let me know and I would be happy to take you around personally.

Thanks and warm regards,

Smita Venkat
